I still can't believe Cree is 30. I just about fell off my chair when I realized he'll be 40 in ten years. What? Time is flying too fast!
Anyway, he turned 30 and we decided to celebrate a little differently this year.
I've been planning on throwing a big party for him since his last birthday. When we went to make the guest list, we realized all the people we wanted to invite lived too far away to join! So...we decided to send the party to them. Each package contained confetti, party straws, buttons, jelly beans, paper mustaches, a Cree inspired info-graphic and instructions to have a party and send us a photo. It will make us feel like they celebrated with us!
Maybe a bit over the top, but he only turns 30 once right? (If you are rolling your eyes, just wait until we have kids!)
oh my. awesome. every single detail. just beautiful!
ReplyDeletelove this! Such a great idea to send the party to where your friends are! How does Cree enjoy being 30? 10 years is a long way from now, and when the time comes, Cree will probably feel right at 40!
ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely brilliant. No way am i rolling my eyes. 30 is a really big deal! I know this from experience.
ReplyDeleteYou are so right. He loves being 30, and I'm sure he'll love being 40. It just amazes me how fast time flies!
