Oh, new york subway. There's nothing quite like you.
As for that iphone, I've never wanted one until this weekend.
See another stop on our trip by Carissa here.
hahaha, the subway is maybe one of the few things i don't miss from NY!! :) and i am RIGHT there with you about the iphone...after our trip to SF in may i was pretty ready. have been since ;)
Stunning photos. Subways are truly an unforgettable experience and I want an iPhone too, never wanted one until life seemed easier to the ones that own one. Sigh
i love the NYC subway- i think its because they have kept a lot of the spirit of NYC and the amazing art of course. :) Do it get an iphone- you wont have any regrets I promise.
i have this innate love of the subway. the way it moves you. i appreciate it all ways. packed shoulder to shoulder in the heat of the day. and late late at night. when it's just you, your friend, and a bum. i wish we had mass transit in michigan. the people mover downtown just isn't cutting it :)
those first two photos are so beautiful and go so well together! i just got back from experiencing the new york subways for the first time... incredible!

i'm not sure I remember a better purchase (ie, my iphone). It fuels my day with tiny moments of creativity when I can't be carrying a camera. Do it!
ReplyDeleteamanda, I'm convinced that you can take a photo of anything and it be gorgeous.

ReplyDeleteI've wanted an iPhone since I saw the iPhone lens. You can turn your iPhone into a SLR, which I think is nifty.
The first photo is impressive. It looks like a movie set in the fifties.

ReplyDeleteI want you around, to take pictures of my life and make it feel this glamourous. ;)
