The sun decided to come out yesterday, so we took the opportunity to go for a snow walk. The little woods behind our house have brought us so much joy. We love having nature so close. The weather has been bitter cold...single digits all week. Good thing we have long underwear and a good pair of snow boots and a warm home to come back to after our trek.
I don't take nearly enough winter walks. It would make for a fun little outdoors adventure.
ReplyDeletei live in orange county, california, and i can't even imagine being in weather THAT cold. i think the coldest i've ever experienced was in lake tahoe, when it got down to 15 degrees one night. it was awesome. (i say awesome, because i was only there for a week, any longer and i probably wouldn't have liked it very much, haha!)
ReplyDeletealthough... i feel a little deprived... it doesn't snow here, we have to drive a a few hours to find it. how about - i send you some california sunshine and warmth, and you send me just a little bit of snow and cold? deal? ;)
This is making me very jealous for warm tea, scarfs, and snow!
ReplyDeletethese are splendid! i especially adore that first shot.

great scarves!!! love the colors. and love the way you are both posing.
ReplyDeleteI know it! I forget what a joy the cold/snow can be. It is easy just to stay bundled up in my PJ's on the weekends, but we both had such a blast! although I will say, I will most definitely take some of your california sunshine Kelly! Totally a deal. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you also for the compliments on the scarfs. I knitted them both...and they have many little mistakes, but I'm still proud of them! Silly me.
so pretty. a winter walk sounds amazing! and the two of you look amazing as well. snow boots and bright scarves have never looked better.
